Located around 8 miles from the French border and around 10 miles from the eastern coast of Lake Geneva, Villars is particularly easy to get to from Geneva Airport at just an hour and a half by car and around 2 hours by train, depending on the train.
Although nobody likes a long transfer the views of the lake from the train are beautiful and after the change in Bex you’ll find yourself surrounded by some of the most stunning mountain scenery.
By Plane - Geneva - / approx 1h 30m by car or 2h by train
The best option here is either to rent a car and drive up or take the train from the airport directly to Villars with a change at Bex. Tickets can be booked online at sbb.ch.
