One of the longest established and most successful ski areas in France, accommodation in Morzine reflects the wide ranging development in the popular resort over the years. Because it has been around and offering skiing since long before the post-War French purpose-built altitude resort boom, it never really had the large concrete apartment complexes of the 1960s and 70s.
