Overview of Andermatt Ski Resort

Andermatt is one of Switzerland's oldest and most attractive ski villages which, with recent development and improvements, has grown to become one of Europe and the world’s top ski destinations.

The traditional and historic village of Andermatt is now complemented by an upscale second village, centered around the luxury Chedi Andermnatt hotel. The huge investment in Andermatt in recent years has benefitted visitors in every way; including a much improved lift system, on-mountian dining and facilities plus a wider choice of hotel and lodging options.

The Andermatt ski area links with Sedrun and Disentis to create the largest ski area in central Switzerland, with access to 33 lifts and180km of terrain.

The picturesque village of Andermatt is arguably the easiest major resort in Switzerland to reach – only 90 minutes from Zurich or two hours from Milan, sitting just north of the St Gotthard Pass and thus earning the nickname "crossroads of the Alps".
