There are several dozen bars to enjoy in Vars which get busy at the weekends in particular. The majority are located in Les Claux. With a dozen or so friendly bar-restaurants slopeside, Vars can be quite lively when the lifts close.
Located in an old chalet in the centre of the resort, L’Apres Ski (+33 (0)4 92 22 31 29) lives up to its name and is usually one of the liveliest spots when the lifts close. La Zizane (Le Point Show; +33 (0)4 92 46 53 47) is another lively choice.
La Marmotte (+33 (0)4 92 46 51 34) is a fun venue when the lifts close and a good place to get a crepe between the end of the ski day and the start of your evening. Le Rocky Mountain (+33 (0)4 92 46 67 60), also in Le Seignon residence, has a similar menu and reputation, with big screen TVs for ski movies.
