Backcountry Snowboarding…With No Bindings

Could this be the next big thing? Backcountry snowboarding with no bindings and no ropes!

I don't see this working well on-piste but it certainly looks like a lot of fun off-piste! One thing that springs to mind is that you'll be able to stand right on the tail of the board so you don't get the same dreaded back-leg burn you get when riding off piste on a standard snowboard!
