Vallorcine Mountain Restaurants

Vallorcine has several restaurants to choose from on the slopes. Close to the top of the gondola, over by the Aiguillette des Posettes drag lifts, L'Alpage de Balme (+33 (0)6 83 33 86) is a classic mountain restaurant serving home cooked food. Because of its reputation among foodies it’s often hard to get a table here so arriving early or booking is a good idea. Over on the Le Tour side the Chalet de Charamillon (+33 (0)4 50 54 04 72; restaurants-altitude.com) at the top of the gondola from the village is a large establishment capable of seating more than 350 indoors and outside on the terrace. It offers a self-service cafeteria style menu with take away snacks available.

Restaurants in Vallorcine

In Vallorcine the restaurant La Ferme des 3 Ours (+33 (0)4 50 54 63 06; restaurant-laferme-des3ours.com) is one of the best choices. It’s a lovely, atmospheric and well-run establishment with a good menu. The rustic wooden building is full of charm and meals are served from noon to 7pm daily. There’s also a restaurant open to the public in the Du Buet and a couple of other options.
