Peisey - Vallandry for Families

Peisey Vallandry is a good choice for families, as you get the best of the friendly intimacy of a smaller resort along with the availability of lots of activities, particularly for older children, that you only get with a big resort.

Two nursery facilities are available for younger children depending on where you stay. In Vallandry the Tom Pouce Nursery (+33 (0)4 79 07 97 72) located slopeside welcomes up 35 children aged from one to six (of which a maximum of five can be aged one or two). The second kindergarten, Le Chat Botte (+33 (0)4 79 07 91 64) is in Plan Peisey located in the Mélèzes building and accepts children aged from one to 11. Advance reservation at both is essential.

The ski schools accept children from age three in to their special snow garden fun learning areas, with older children taught according to the standard French certification system based on ability and age.

The tourist office also maintains a list of registered baby sitters.
