The purpose built resort of Les Menuires is located just below Val Thorens in the Belleville valley. Its prime location gives lift-linked access to the world’s largest ski area the Three Valleys, and consequently Les Menuires enjoys regular transfers from the alpine airports, and easy rail access from the nearby station at Moutiers. The most convenient airports for travel to Les Menuires are Geneva, Chambery and Lyon.
Chambéry Airport - 100 km / approx 1 hours 25 mins

Car hire is also possible.
Geneva Airport - 190 km / approx 2 hours 15 mins
There are regular buses to Les Menuires from Geneva run by AlpyBus who offer our clients a 5% discount using promotional code POWD3RB17. Please note this code is only valid if you have booked your accommodation through Powderbeds. Altibus also run transfers.
As always there is the option of either car hire or private transfers with Ski Lifts.

As you would expect the journey time to the Alps is considerable, between 7 and 10 hours from Calais. However, if you don’t mind spending a bit of time behind the wheel the drive is perfectly doable. Make sure you remember snow chains especially if you are going in the height of the winter, and keep an eye on the weather forecast. ViaMichelin.com provide great directions as well as costs for tolls, and fuel estimations. There are many free car parks available in resort as well as paid indoor parking spaces near the centre.
