Avoriaz has a growing choice of ski school options suitable for either private or group lessons and clients can choose between French, international or British ski schools. The ski school meeting point in Avoriaz should be an important consideration if you want group lessons as the different ski schools all meet in different parts of the resort. We'd therefore recommend you choose a ski school that's convenient for your Avoriaz apartment or hotel. For private lessons, if requested, the instructor will normally meet you at your accommodation or at a meeting point of your choosing.

It has since grown to offer lessons in other ski resorts in France, including Avoriaz. Supreme principally offer private lessons with a very high teaching standard but they also offer group lessons during the peak season. The adult group lessons only have a maximum of 4 people and the kids group lessons only have a maximum of 6 children. The Avoriaz meeting point is at the top of the Prodains gondola.

Owned and run by a Scot and offering a superb level of tuition with a choice of private or group lessons. They operate from an office and meeting point conveniently located on the slopes at a central point in the resort near Le Yeti bar. Early booking is highly recommended as this ski school books up quickly, especially for peak dates in school holidays. The PowderBeds team have used Avoriaz Alpine Ski School for many winters and we can't recommend them highly enough.

New Generation Ski and Snowboard School is a great choice if you're looking for ski lessons in Avoriaz. They were first based out of Morzine but have since expanded to other French resorts such as the 3 Valleys and the Espace Killy ski area. PDS’ group lessons are specifically designed to enhance your learning experience with a maximum of 8 to a group. The meeting point for PDS is at the top of the Pleney cable car and your instructor will be waiting for you outside the restaurant on your right, near the ski racks on the snow.
