Restaurants, Dining & Bars

Guests can choose to self cater in one of the apartment kitchens or alternatively make the most of a 'Meal formula' which allows you to eat in one of the local restaurants. There are three restaurants on site; Le Lodge has a terrace with valley views and serves favourites such as burgers and '66' offers gastronomic food in a more formal setting. Surya, the main L'Amara reception building, has a stylish bar with a pool table and a kids play room and the Falaise area is right next to L'Amara.

Spa & Wellness

Residence L'Amara features its very own Deep Nature Spa located in the Surya building below the reception area. The Deep Nature Spa by Algotherm offers treatments with a focus on natural marine minerals and there's a shop there selling Algotherm products to take home. The spa features a range of treatments and guests also have access to the multi sensory shower, relaxation room and outdoor hot tub which has wonderful views over the valley.

Sports & Recreation Facilities

L’Amara has such a good range of activities that you could almost come here on a ski holiday and not bother with the skiing. You could take advantage of free use of the pool and spa area, or work out in the fitness room. Enjoy a quiet afternoon in the hotel reception where there is a nice open fire, selection of newspapers, Wifi and a pool table (payable locally).

Families & Children

L’Amara is absolutely ideal for families with children due not only to its internal facilities but also its location in relation to activities available in the resort. The residence has a pool, paddling pool, and a kids play room as well as WiFi in the reception area (all free to use). Furthermore there is a Kids Club for ages 3 to 12 on site where kids can enjoy a range of supervised activities leaving parents free to relax as children play. (subject to extra costs, book in advance).

Location

L'Amara is located in a ski-in/ski-out position at the entrance to Avoriaz on the right hand side with incredible elevated views down the valley. There are superb amenities on site including two Skiset ski shops, both featuring rental departments as well as shops selling a wide choice of ski equipment and clothing.There are also three restaurants on-site and two bars with a nearby well stocked supermarket perfect for supplies for self-catering.

Directions

The residence L’Amara is situated at the entrance of Avoriaz next to the current covered car park. If arriving by car then you will need to leave it at either the residence car park or the nearby open one. Both of these cost extra but are guarded and open 24 hours/day. The covered parking is approximately €100 per week and the open parking is approximately €70 per week.

Long stay (7+ nights ): Check in from 5pmShort stays (2-6 days): Check in from 4pmIt is the guest's responsibility to arrive between the hours of check-in. In the case of late arrival, guests must notify the property reception on the telephone number provided, otherwise access to the apartment cannot be guaranteed.Security deposit of €300 to be paid at check-in.On arrival, if there are any issues with cleanliness these should be reported to the Residence Manager immediately.
