Epic Snow Sculpting in Breckenridge

For the team at Powderbeds snow means skiing. However the annual International Snow Sculpting Championships in one of the best resorts in the world; Breckenridge, Colorado, brings a whole new meaning to the word. The annual snow sculpting championships has teams from all around the world vying to build the most impressive snow sculpture. They are far from just your average snow man, starting as huge blocks of snow the teams of four have 65 hours to turn them into a modern masterpiece. The 2013 competition itself  takes place between the 24th-27th of January, and the viewing week is from the 26th of January– 2nd of February 2013. The exhibition is free, but you can vote for your favourite in the People's Choice vote  for the fee of 1$, they also have interactive children's sculptures in the display. Any trip to Breckenridge guarantees incredible skiing, so why not check it out and experience something a bit different on your ski holiday.
