Les Arcs 50th anniversary

In 1968 an entrepreneur, a mountain guide and an internationally renowned architect created Les Arc 1600, an innovative ski resort built from scratch. This year marks the 50th anniversary of Les Arcs’ opening and will be celebrated with a whole host of events including specials concerts and parties.

Les Fondus du Ski 15-16th of December

What more could you want?! Delicious fondue, incredible scenery and skiing all in one place. The fondue festival is a way of celebrating the start of the season and will be accompanied by après and entertainment.

Film Festival 15-22nd of December

Not to be missed by any film enthusiasts! The 10th edition of Les Arcs Film Festival will take place this year in partnership with the Polish Film Institute. There will be over 120 films screened in several locations across the resort by a range of European film professionals and there will also be extra activities such as discussion forums and concerts.
 

 
 

Avoriaz

La Folie Douce is coming to Avoriaz!

Avoriaz’s après scene just got a major upgrade with the edition of a new Folie Douce this season which will be opening its doors in December! La Folie will be located on the Plateau by the Yeti and will have a huge sun terrace for après lovers to take in the atmosphere and views over the resort.

If your child fancies themselves as the next ski jumping champion or just love speeding down the slopes then this is the perfect activity for them. The ESF are running private ski jumping lessons for kids in Courchevel who want a taster of the sport. Lessons last for 90 minutes and cost €120.

FSI Ladies Alpine Ski World Cup 21-22nd of December

92 fearless athletes from 26 different nations will be snaking their way down the downhill and slalom courses to compete in the Ladies Alpine Ski World Cup. The Courchevel leg of the event will span over two days with DJ sets and free entertainment between races.
