Start the season in style in Avoriaz

Celebrate the start of the winter season in Avoriaz at the annual Snowsports Celebratory weekend where you will find free trials, music and great deals on ski equipment.

From the 15th -16th of December in Avoriaz the 8th ‘Fete Glisse’ will take place 50 of the best ski and snowboard brands celebrate the start of the winter season by allowing you to trial the newest gear and get some advice from the experts.

You can also experience the original 'Rock On' Snowpark which has a music theme this year including guitars, ghetto blasters and a wall ride radio. Between 3.30pm to 5.00pm a happy hour will take place which includes free mulled wine, and for the younger crowd a free induction to snowboarding is available for children under the age of 10 all weekend. To make this weekend even more tempting Avoriaz is offering special skipass rates for the weekend, with a one day ski pass costing €16.50 and a 2 day ski pass costing €33. Powderbeds have some early booking offers available so that you can kick start the winter season with a bang.
