Get ready for an amazing half-term ski holiday

With just over a month to go before the real Christmas chaos begins, now’s the perfect time to get your half-term ski holidays organised!

February skiers and boarders generally benefit from higher temperatures and longer days than during December and January, and when you combine this with excellent snow conditions and a week off school, it’s no surprise the February half term week is often the most popular week of the year for family ski holidays.

But just because the dates are popular, it doesn’t mean your escape – or organizing it – should be any more stressful. People sometimes decide to leave planning their half term skiing until after Christmas is out of the way, and although at other times of the year booking last minute can be a great way to get your hands on a fantastic deal, early booking is definitely the key to finding yourself the perfect ski holiday during these peak dates. Why? The simple popularity of the mid-February weeks means that far more often than not, you’ll get a better deal by booking your accommodation when there's still plenty of availability. If you leave it too late there's a high risk that you’ll pay much more and end up having to make comprises on the ski holiday you’ve been so eagerly looking forward to!

Luckily, there’s still time to beat the rush and plan an out-of-this-world half term break in some fabulous family resorts .

Here’s a few of our favorite properties that we think are perfectly suited for a half-term ski holiday:
